Lars Rademaker · founder

Built from doing the work, and studying what changes the result.

Lars is a Dutch hybrid athlete and coach based in Menorca. His own progression, from a first HYROX in 1:16:31 to a 59:28 Pro performance, showed him how much there is to gain from better technique and smarter pacing.

As a Concept2 coach, Lars brings a passion for the ergs and for helping people get more out of them. He enjoys breaking down technique, answering questions and helping a movement click. He founded ERGCLINIC to share that knowledge with coaches and athletes through hands-on teaching.

01

The method

Five things we teach people to see.

The method is simple enough to remember and deep enough to change how the machine is coached.

01

Setup

Match the athlete, machine and purpose before the work begins.

02

Sequence

Apply force in an order that reduces wasted movement.

03

Efficiency

Hold useful mechanics when breathing and fatigue change.

04

Pacing

Connect perceived effort to an output that can be sustained.

05

Data

Read the monitor and make the next coaching decision.

02

The category

Your general coach builds the athlete. ERGCLINIC goes deep on the machines.

This is not a replacement for programming, HYROX coaching or the judgement of your team. It is specialist education in a narrow, useful category, delivered so the knowledge can re-enter the wider programme.
